Chess Teaches You!

Chess Teaches You is an interactive electronic chess piece designed to help beginners understand how different chess roles move. By rotating and pressing the encoder, users can select a chess role, then touch or lift the piece to reveal its movement guidance on the OLED screen. The project combines a custom PCB, XIAO RP2040, capacitive touch sensing, a rechargeable battery, and a 3D-printed enclosure, turning a traditional chess piece into a tangible learning object.
